Hey there, hi there, ho there, you’re as welcome as can be!
Anyways, here it is, my first blog post! How exciting! I use a lot of exclamation marks, you’ll get used to it.
Let’s start off with an introduction. I’m Melissa Sue and, like many other people, all things Disney make me happy. How can it not? Princesses, cute cuddly characters, and exciting places to visit that bring all of your childhood dreams to life!
I’ve always wanted to start a Disney inspired blog to share all the fun ways I incorporate Disney into my life plus great tips and tricks for visiting Walt Disney World. How you ask? Here are the many ways:
– My husband and I have attended Walt Disney World at least twice, of not three times a year (except for the year I had my son, but you can cut me some slack for that one, right?). I have great tips for not only parents who bring their children, but also for couples or singles without children. It is such a misconception that people who don’t have children can’t have fun there. I’ll prove you wrong and give you all of the best spots, tips and tricks to make it your favorite vacation spot. Kids or no kids!
– I got married at Disney, and no, not the fairytale wedding extravaganza, but the roundabout way to be a Disney bride without breaking the bank! So many brides give up on the idea because they don’t know that there are other ways to still get married in Disney without going through Disney fairytale weddings! I’ll give all of the insider tips on how I did it. So don’t give up on your happily ever after, Cinderella!
– Most of my parties are also Disney inspired! Whether it was my bridal shower, baby shower, or son’s birthday, I always find the Disney way of doing things! I’ll share all of the Disney aspects of my events, right down the the triple layer Mickey Halloween cake I made for my sons first birthday party.
– I love to incorporate my love for Disney into my everyday life, whether it be activities and things I do with my son or the decor in my house. I’ll give you some great ideas on how to add a touch of Disney in your decor without going over board so much that your family and friends need to have an intervention. Keep it classy, with a hint of Mickey! I don’t know about you, but I love walking around the house and seeing things that remind me of my fun family Disney trips or my Disney wedding. It brings me right back to those happy moments.
So there you have it folks, my first post! Im so happy I finally did this, and I can’t wait to start sharing my knowledge of all things Disney!
See ya real soon!
